Can corrosive or reactive materials be processed in extrusion? With our new 16 mm twin-screw extruder, we are investigating precisely that, with a focus on the material recycling of polyester-based bioplastics. This compounder, equipped with stainless steel barrels and screws, can be operated at up to 400 °C and up to 1100 rpm to cover even extreme processing conditions. Solids and liquids can also be added at various positions, and the screws can be modularly adjusted – a real all-rounder.
