Plastics can release volatile organic compounds (VOCs), which affect the smell and perceived quality of vehicle interiors, as well as health. Consequently, the emission requirements of OEMs are strict.
Since November 2025, TCKT has been the only testing laboratory in Austria to offer VDA 278 emission measurements as an accredited procedure in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025. We support compliance with OEM specifications and the early detection of quality and health risks, which is particularly relevant when using recycled materials.
We also offer VDA 277 as an accredited test method in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.
