Last Wednesday, the time had come at Andorf technology school for the best HTL diploma theses to be presented and awarded prizes. We are particularly pleased that we were able to support two of the students, Florian Gaisberger and Alexander Eggetsberger, financially and with advice and assistance in their project. The two developed, designed, and built a shredder and extruder combination that can be used to recycle waste from 3D printing in a high-quality manner. What makes this project special is that it can be realized for less than €2,000 and is intended as an open-source project for the 3D printing community. For this great project, the two were awarded third place in the competition – congratulations!
