From 14 to 15 May 2025, the first CIRPLEX (Circular Plastics Experience Summit) took place in Klagenfurt, bringing together an exhibition and congress format for circular plastics solutions in the Alps-Adriatic region. This event brought together start-ups and industry leaders in the plastics sector, offering interesting presentations and excellent networking opportunities.
TCKT was represented by its own booth at the joint KC booth, where it presented selected research projects on plastics recycling. The spectrum ranged from textile recycling with the PLASTICE project, to PET2Pack for recyclable PET packaging, to HospiCycle, which is dedicated to the treatment of plastic waste from the hospital sector. Other highlights included the project rGFK goes Trailer, which focuses on handling glass fiber-reinforced plastic from wind turbine blades, the project PIONEER for recycling composite materials for aircraft interiors and WINTRUST, which takes an innovative approache for recycling winter sports equipment.
