For the third time, we welcomed girls interested in technology to Girls' Day Junior at TCKT. We were able to introduce the basics and diversity of plastic to seven schoolgirls from the 3rd grade of Volksschule 10 from Wels. The children learned about processing steps such as shredding, filament extrusion, 3D printing, injection molding and mechanical testing. The girls helped enthusiastically and of course, some of the produced pieces could be taken home. In addition, the topics of recycling and responsible use of resources were discussed. We are delighted to be able to introduce young girls to our work and get them interested in technical topics as part of Girls' Day Junior!
