Dr. Martina Prambauer is a researcher and project leader at the TCKT in Wels. From 2014 to 2017 she worked at the TCKT in the field of natural fiber reinforced thermoplastic composites in the scope of her PhD thesis. In 2017 she received her doctor’s degree at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (JKU) with the thesis: “Fabrication and Characterization of structural thermoplastic composites, reinforced with paper layers”. Before that she studied Chemical Engineering at the JKU and graduated with a diploma thesis about the synthesis and characterization of polyphosphazens for tissue engineering applications in cooperation with the TCKT.
Her work comprises different topics in the field of thermoplastic polymers including composite materials and biopolymers. She is also responsible for the characterization of plastics by gas chromatography at the TCKT. In the frame of her scientific work she has already published 6 peer-reviewed articles in international scientific journals and she could also contribute with approx. 10 conference papers to several international conferences and seminars.
