Dipl.-Ing. Hannes Stadler is a researcher and project manager at the Transfercenter für Kunststofftechnik in Wels, Upper Austria. He studied plastic engineering at the Montanuniversität Leoben. His diploma thesis, which was completed in 2006 at the Polymer Competence Center Leoben (PCCL), was dealing with the fatigue crack growth of various polyethylene pipe materials. After completing his studies, he started as a development engineer at Poloplast in Leonding. Afterwards in 2008, he led up to 10 different research projects with industry participation at the TCKT, including topics like properties modification of polymers, recycling of plastics and development of materials and processes in the field of fiber reinforced plastics. From 2015 he worked for Miba High Tech Coatings in the field of polymer coating development and coating characterization, before returning to the TCKT in 2018.
